Fees, Billing & Cancellation Policy
We are a 100% private billing practice. Medicare rebates do not apply to GP telehealth assessment or medication review appointments. Dr McKeown is trained to provide focussed psychological sessions and can deliver this care by telehealth with Medicare rebates.

FPS rebates require a valid Mental Health Treatment Plan and GP referral. Rebates do not apply to assessment or review appointments.
Private Billing
All appointments are privately billed. We do not bulk bill. Medicare rebates do not apply to ADHD assessment or medication review appointments. A Medicare rebate may apply to ADHD Mental Health Care (FPS) appointments where a valid Mental Health Treatment Plan and GP referral are in place.
Card Details & Pre-Authorisation
Card details are required when submitting a first-appointment request or booking subsequent appointments.
Providing card details does not confirm that a first-appointment request has been accepted or that an appointment has been booked.
If your request is accepted and a first appointment is confirmed, HotDoc may place a pre-authorisation (temporary hold) on your card up to 7 days before the appointment.
The appointment fee is charged when the appointment proceeds. If an appointment is cancelled outside the applicable cancellation-fee period, the pre-authorisation is voided and no funds are taken.
Cancellation Policy
The cancellation policy applies to confirmed appointments.
